Our Story
Ocelli is a privately held company based in Bangalore, INDIA. Ocelli is engaged in developing products for smart homes and office spaces. Ocelli’s quest for world-class quality and user-friendliness drives its attitude towards its product development.
Ocelli’s mission is to become the market leader in building sensor and control products through a combination of innovative and high-quality user-friendly products at an affordable price. Ocelli will be known as the leading provider of sensor and control products for green energy buildings.
Govardhan Ramachandra along with Kanagaraju Ponnusmay co-founded Ocelli Systems in 2010. For the last 4 years, he served as Operations Director of the Ocelli Systems taking care of Ocelli’s operations with an eye on the cost. As a result, Ocelli could succeed as a lean start-up and bring product to the market in reasonable time frame. He is a semi-conductor veteran with over 25 years of experience in the semi-conductor field. Joined cypress as section manager in 1994 and moved to India in 2000 to start Product and Test Engineering group for Cypress SRAM business Unit. He then grew the group into a one of the largest business units within the company. He has expertise in product engineering and back end manufacturing of Integrated Circuits. He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from UVCE, Bangalore, INDIA and Masters in Electrical Engineering from the U.S.

Kanagaraju Ponnusmay co-founded Ocelli Systems in 2010 along with Govardhan Ramachandra. He has about 18 years of experience in the semi-conductor field taking chips from concept to production. Joined Arcus Technology (one of the earliest chip design start-up company in Bangalore) as a front-end engineer in 1996. He then grew to become program/functional manager at cypress and Qlogic managing chip design programmes. He always looks for an opportunity to automate tasks and is hands-on with various scripts and macros. He has a Bachelors in Instrumentation Technology from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, INDIA and masters in the same field from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, INDIA.
